Dramatic clouds behind Ste. Anne de Detroit
Ste. Anne de Detroit is the second oldest continuously operating Catholic parish in America.
Basilica of Sainte Anne de Détroit was founded July 26, 1701 by French colonists in New France. The current basilica was built in 1886. Its soaring neo-Gothic architecture, incredible stained glass windows, impressive side altars and statues, and dazzling starred ceiling make it an important landmark in the City of Detroit.
